Summer learning journey practice activity.
Today Whaea Donna came in and she told us about the summer learning journey, we got to do a practice activity. For the practice activity we had to do something called colour by number and these are the ones I created.
Kia ora Kadee, this is Elle from the Summer Learning Journey team.
Wow, you have created two terrific artworks! You’ve done a great job with the colouring and I can see that you have put in a lot of detail, so well done!
I really like how you’ve chosen pieces that contrast each other in their art style, and they both have famous landmarks in them. Your first artwork has Mount Fuji from Japan in the background, and the second one has the Statue of Liberty, which I think is very cool! I have always wanted to travel to visit them in person. Do you have any famous landmarks you would like to visit too?
Next time, maybe you could include pictures of the original artworks, so we can see what changes you made to make the art in your own style.
Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more of your activities this summer!
