How to play yoshi
How to play Yoshi
On Thursdays my class plays a game called Yoshi.
Yoshi is the sort of game that you would play in P.E. The senior class in Oruaiti school taught us the game.
What you need:
First, get a good amount of people and split them into even teams and give them each a different colour sash. You also need 2 hoops and a few cones.
The set-up:
To play Yoshi set up the cones by lining them up in the middle going across the field all spred out. Next you need to put the even teams on each side. Then put the hoops diagonally on each side of the cones in the corners.
How to play:
To start, a person will need to say go. When they say go you need to try and get your whole team in the hoop at the same time as the other team on the other team's side without them tagging you. If you get tagged you need to stand in the spot where you got tagged and wait for one of your team mates to come and save you by taking you back to your side.
How to win:
To win you need to get all of your team mates
into the hoop on the other side before the other team.

Going to Waitangi.
My trip to Waitangi
On Wednesday my class travelled in different cars to Waitangi in the area of Paihia. First, we left in our cars, I rode with Leah, Bella, Ava, Bella's mum Heather and myself. It took us about 1 hour to get there, but just before we arrived there, we had a little accident... BELLA GOT CAR SICK AND THREW UP!!!
Anyways... Our tour guides were Imogen and Sharee. Then we went to the museum and learnt lots of new things. Next, we went up to the Marae. After that, we got to explore Mr and Mrs Bussbee's house, it was so cool. We also got to see a Waka called Ngatokimatawhaorua it was a very long Waka. 20 mins later... We left and that was the end.
